You probably don't know me... Then again you might, I have no idea. But either way you're reading my story :)

It's a pretty average story I think, full of ups and downs just like everyone else's life... the difference? It's MINE, of course :)

I will spare you the full details so that we can jump to the present as fast as possible, but a little background is necessary, yes?

Just nod and smile and humor me :D

Don't worry, this is the most you will have to read on this blog!

Anyway, I am ElisaBeth... I am 27, soon to be 28 on Dec 28th; oo I'm getting up there huh?

I was born to teenage parents, and through a sequence of events landed myself in foster care at the tender age of three months old with a broken arm... fast forward to 9 months old and I am scoring a home with my maternal grandparents, who I now refer to as 'Mum' and 'Da'. They raised me, they deserve the titles I think.

It was an average childhood I like to think... I was raised as an only child, besides the fact that I had older siblings by adoption (who biologically were my Aunts and Uncles) and that biologically I have six younger brothers, YES SIX. We are close, but I had the pleasure of my own room and house at the end of the day :P

I was involved in Gymnastics, Ballet, Tap, Modern dance, Jazz; I played Violin and some Piano and Guitar, I sang for awhile, I had my own dog, a best friend that I met at the age of six, and she was three (we are still best friends to this day, you'll here more about her please believe)

In highschool I was a good student, although with an authority problem like most teens. Teachers either loved me or hated me, which was how I felt about them. I was president of Environmental Club, in French Club, Drama and Journalism.

And I aspired to be an Archeologist.

Which I didn't by title, but I did get my time in the dirt.

I graduated in 2001 with good grades and a good GPA... I applied to colleges just like my peers, and I was heading towards LSU.

  Then boys happened.

I loved, I lost, I gave up my dreams for awhile and mulled about town. I married at 20, it lasted barely two years before I said 'screw this noise' and left...

    Thats when things got ugly.

In 2006 I lost a baby, I was around five months pregnant so it was considered a still birth. All the while dealing with my boyfriend always talking to and sneaking off to see his married girlfriend...

Not to worry, that asshole kicked me out as soon as I lost the baby so he could move her in.

I moved in with two friends, a brother and sister... began 'dating' the brother, sister found out and freaked, moved out and we haven't spoken since; :/

The rest of 2006 and 2007 is a blur, literally, since I was wasted most of the time... or worse.

I ended up in a three year relationship with another guy, who had the most awesome little girl; we connected quickly. I even became friends with his x-wife, despite all the lies he fed me about her.

But, like everything else, it didnt work out, he was too much of a mama's boy and I was too unhappy.

We separated; but not to worry, that little girl still holds a piece of my heart, and we talk when we can.

Look, you're almost all caught up!

 2009;

I get a random call from an x-boyfriend from high school. His name is Jason, and we were very much in love our senior year, although his plans were to graduate and in-list in the NAVY, and that wasn't the kind of wife I saw myself as... we both knew it. He proposed to me, I broke up with him... he went on to serve eight years as a NUKE.

He was out of the Navy, and wondering what I was up to. We had kept in though through the years, emails, a phone call hear and there, and he would take me out to eat when he came into town.

I told him what had happened with my last relationship... and the calls kept coming.

Eventually he invited me on a trip to Vegas with him, that was July. By August he has moved me from Florida to California to be with him. By November we had found and bought a beautiful home, and December 26th I found out I was pregnant :)

Fast forwards to August 12th 2010; my mother has flown from Florida and is staying with us, my best friend Becca has flown from Texas and staying with us, and I am at a doctors appointment being told to head across the street to labor and delivery and 'Not to let them release me'

Four hours later, by emergency C-cection, our son, Xavier was born... healthy and alive.

WOOT! You are caught up!

Now I warn you, I will mostly tell my story through pictures, short updates and videos, so be prepared!

My DroidX is updated with the app and ready to go!
